THE SHOPS
A new comic opera from the husband and wife team Rushton and Gioulami. The Shops (2006) was commissioned by The Opera Group and the Bregenzer Festspiele and enjoyed its premiere
on July 22, 2007 in Birmingham (UK). Our performance will mark the North American premiere. Center City Opera Theater is pleased to annouce that the renowned Philadelphia-based 
chamber ensemble Orchestra 2001 will serve as the opera's orchestra. Swarthmore College &
