PR Internship
As an intern of the Center City Opera Theater, you will work as an ambassador
for opera and the live performing arts in Philadelphia. In addition, you
will be cultivating an active interest in the Center City Opera Theater
opera theater’s intimate productions in Philadelphia’s premier
performance venue, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and our cutting-edge
arts education program. The Center City Opera Theater offers up to two
public relation internships per year. The public relation intern is under
the general supervision of the Center City Opera Theater's General &
Artistic Directors. This position is part time and uncompensated. Interested

Marketing Internship

Volunteers
Volunteers are a critical component of the Center City Opera
Theater team. Have you always wanted to know what an opera singer's day-to-day
life is like? Find out by volunteering to host one of our artists during
their rehearsal and performance time in Philadelphia. Short-term and longer
stays are needed. We also have volunteer opportunities in event support,
fundraising and marketing. Email aburridge@operatheater.org

Auditions for soloists are held periodically during the Center City Opera Theater’s regular season (i.e. from September to June). Only those singers whose materials show evidence of professional experience performing solo roles in fully staged operas will be considered. The Center City Opera Theater reserves the right, without explanation, to decline to hear applicants. Singers who wish to audition should mail a photo and resume to:
